The ongoing research in the field of decision-making can be analyzed from different perspectives. Research trends indicate that multi-attribute (MADM) methods have a significant impact on engineering and management scientific areas. Since many problems existing mentioned areas are associated with certain level uncertainty, type 2 fuzzy sets represent common solution for enhancement conventional MADM methods. In this way, decision-makers encouraged to use linguistic expressions assessment attributes’ relative importance their values. purpose paper is review determination importance, values, as well extension ranking sets. papers systematically adjoined groups consisting hybrid models following characteristics: (1) indicating procedure modeling attribute (2) determining determine vector weights, (3) attributes This study reviewed total 42 domain published 2013 2023 journals indexed by Springer, Science Direct, Emerald, Wiley, ProQuest, Taylor, Francis platforms.
